**************I had to sit and think a little while about this one. My favorite thing to wear...hmmm. Well, if I'm being honest, reeeeeallllyy honest, I would have to admit that my favorite thing to wear is pajamas...or as I affectionately refer to them, my 'yummy clothes'. Over the years I've accumulated quite a stash, to the point that my pj's have their own little section of my closet. I only ever purchase cotton...I adore cotton. It is a menopausal woman's friend.
Out of my 'collection', the one standout piece is a sad pair of faded, washed to death, blue and white striped cotton pajama bottoms. I have no idea where the top to the set is. Most likely it made it's way to a Salvation Army drop box long ago. Nonetheless, my ratty blue striped pj bottoms are my fav. The elastic is almost gone, so when I first put them on after washing, they fit pretty well...however, as the day progresses and the cotton stretches, they tend to make their way south.
Probably not exactly what you were looking for Wendy, but the older I get, the more that it's all about the comfort baby!
