A few months ago, I went shopping at a factory close-out sort of place. A place where they send the items that nobody bought from a catalog...or where they sell the stuff that people return after purchasing them from catalogs and then waking up, hitting themselves in the head and promising to hide their credit cards while drinking. Anyways, while there I found four...um, delightful items that I took cell phone pictures of and later showed to the rest of the Fab Five, explaining that while I had each one of them in mind for each of the items, they were welcome to thank me for NOT buying them!
So, tonight...I was doing a little Christmas shopping and stopped in Anthropologie. I love this store...beautiful clothes that are too pricey (and small) for me, smart little knick-knacks that I'd be happy to dust. You get the picture. But I was surprised to also find a few gifts that I'm sure you'll all thank me for NOT getting you. And you're welcome! Quite welcome.
Susan, I'm afraid that there's more than one cute squirrel among the merchandise. But I elected to refrain from purchasing this stack of plates for you. And, yes, you're quite welcome. Because they were on sale and I find it hard to resist a deal. But I did. For you.

Wendy, I know that you're preparing your beautiful home for the holiday season. And you probably wish that you had some large animal to pose in your livingroom. Like this sheep...this beaded sheep. I didn't get it for you. Ewe are welcome!
Krissy, I know how you enjoy the scent of a lovely burning candle. And I wonder if, at times, you have trouble finding a match. Well, if I'd purchased this lovely wreath for you, you'd have one at the ready whenever you needed it. But I'm counting on you having a stash of Bic Candle Lighters. So I didn't get this for you. But I can go back! If you want me to!!

So, my trip was either wildly successful, or a dud. It just depends on your perspective. There's more shopping in my future. I'll be sure to keep a look out!
