antiquing in lancaster

This past Saturday, Krissy, Beth and Susan took off to Lancaster...a little town south of Columbus, to do some 'treasure hunting', as Krissy calls it. We had been to a couple antique places there, in particular an antique mall called The Old Shoe Factory, but it had been several years. Anyway, through torrential rains, we made our way first through Tim's for coffee and a snack pack of timbits (sour cream and chocolate only) and Beth landed the super deal...2 sausage-egg-cheese biscuits for the price of one. woo hoo!

The Old Shoe Factory did not disappoint. Very nice, alot to look at and some great prices. Not to mention peanut butter filled Hershey chocolate kisses. (an all-you-can-eat stash right next to the cash register).
We hit the mother-load of vintage baubles in one of the antique stores. See if you can find Beth in the picture. Funny!

We were a little famished when we left there, so we found a little hole in the wall restaurant on a side street and thought we would venture in. Little did we know that every table in the restaurant would stop eating and stare at us when we came in the door. Just a tad uncomfortable. Here are some pictures of lunch. Krissy and Susan were pretty excited about getting a package of club crackers with their cole slaw. And Beth's chocolate milk shake was actually made from hand dipped ice cream, cuz we saw our server actually making it. YUM!

All in all a great day of laughs, treasures, chocolate and fun!
