2010 setting the bar low

Ah yes...a new year...a blank slate that we look forward to with optimism...well, at least until February. You know, those New Year promises that we make to ourselves as the clock strikes midnight, that somehow wane soon after the ball drops in Times Square. So here's a thought...maybe if we made New Years resolutions that we actually had a chance of keeping, we'd feel so much better about tackling the year ahead? That being said, the Fab Five have decided to share some of our 2010 resolutions...resolutions that we think we have a pretty good chance of keeping.

  1. We resolve in 2010 to eat more dark chocolate since it's healthier for you.
  2. We resolve in 2010 to exercise at least once. [type of exercise and duration TBD]
  3. We resolve in 2010 to support US dairy farmers by consuming butter and ice cream whenever we possibly can.
  4. We resolve in 2010 to stimulate the local economy by having more mani's and pedi's.
  5. We resolve in 2010 to eat more of Wendy's cooking.
  6. We resolve in 2010 to support Panera Bread. by hanging out for endless hours, using the free internet connection and not actually buying anything.

We resolve, in 2010, to wear flip-flops as often as warmly possible.

We resolve, in 2010, to re-watch a favorite movie...or two.

I, Marilyn, resolve in 2010 to mention my dog in conversation at least once every day.
