Well, lets see. facial hair, Hot flashes. just to name a couple.
Today there were 2 things. I'm sure tomorrow there will be more reasons I hate about getting older...This morning when I was applying my makeup, I realized that my lid will no longer bounce back when I apply liner and shadow. Uggghhh!!! And then later in the day I was explaining optics to a patient and totally forget what I was talking about! Oh my goodness!=)
I hate that when my train of thought totally comes off the track! I thought of another thing, Arm flab! I totally have old lady arms.
I'd heard of hot flashes...but I'm not quite there yet. What no one told me about was that my internal thermostat would begin to fail. Why does getting dressed, drying my hair and putting on makeup make me SWEAT? I think I perspired twice before the age of 18. Now apparently slight waves of my arms makes me break out in a sweat on my back and in my hairline. I've become accustomed to using a small fan in my bathroom, waiting to get dressed until after my hairdo workout, and using the AC in my car, regardless of the temps outside.

As you know, my niece just turned 13. She is on Facebook. we are talking about not liking getting older, she wants to get older. Such drama in her young life, you couldn't pay me enough money to be 13 again. Today her post is,(talking about a boy) I waited to long and I lost my chance, Now what? !!!! Poor Girl, should I tell her, it doesn't get any easier? Boys don't get any smarter?
