This past Sunday, the Fab Five gathered at Highbanks Metro Park to celebrate the birth of our dear friend Krissy. Some of us are better at handling hot weather than others. Susan, for example, is going to petition that Krissy's birthday be moved to a cooler month next year. We did however discover a creative use for ice cubes that gave a brief respite from the heat. If you're ever watching television late at night and see an infomercial for a cooling product called "boob cubes"...that would be ours.
So, Wendy, our resident hostess with the mostess was in charge of the festivities and once again, did a crazy delish job. Seriously, the woman should have her own cooking show. She prepared a five course meal, each course packaged in the most adorable Chinese take-out boxes with ribboned tags. Absolute genius, not to mention a heck of alot of fun! Check in tomorrow for Wendy's menu and a couple of her recipes. Seriously yum-a-licious.

I loved, LOVED LOVED those photos of the girls, of Krissy, of the food, and the spider, followed by Susan's "look" and the music, . . . it was very happy and fun! Sigh. I miss you girls terribly!
