Don't know if you've been or not, but I could literally spend 'days' tooling around on Etsy. It's a website for crafters to sell their wares. You can purchase a wide variety of handmade items on the site. Recently I purchased a yard of Marimeko fabric and the gal I purchased it from lives in Finland! I thought that was kind of cool.
Another Etsy vendor that I ran across the other day was called "ExLibris Purses". She takes old books, tears the insides out and makes them into purses. They are the cutest things. Such a great idea to re-purpose something.

On the downside, there are some items that people make and post to Etsy that I just wonder what in the world they're thinking. And, I don't mean to gross anyone out, so be forewarned to not read any further if you are 1) male, or 2) squeamish. Let me introduce you to "Moon Pads". The tagline is, "Go green with organic, cotton, reusable, washable, cloth menstrual pads."
Total ew...

TTFN...skw i know what somebody's getting for christmas...ejm =)

Speaking of Finland. Curt & I have been hunting for a yellow aromatic seasoning salt substitute since we ran out of our Finnish made Santa Maria brand aromatic salt. Knorrs makes a good aromatic seasoning. It's yellow & GREAT on fish, poultry, eggs, etc. YUM!
Maybe you can do more research and find if it is distributed in the US. But, at least, here is the URL for Finland.
