
If you haven't noticed, being "green" [as in carbon footprint, recycling...that type of thing] is the latest eco-cool way to be. But, long before Al Gore made such a big tadoo about it, our families..."our" as in the Fab Five's parents and grandparents, were already going green...except, they called it being frugal and considered it a normal way of life. Maybe because alot of them were immigrants, or because they experienced the Great Depression first hand, whatever the case, they taught us things, some of which would be great ideas to implement today. So, that being said, this week, the Fab Five are going to share "green" anecdotes from our childhoods. Hope you enjoy the walk down memory lane and pick up a few ideas you can use along the way.
